Heinsbergen Murals

These murals decorated the Lewis and Clark theater in Tukwila, Washington until the building was demolished in 2005.1 According to wikipedia, "Anthony Heinsbergen (December 13, 1894 - June 14, 1981) was an American muralist considered the foremost designer of North American movie theatre interiors."2

Chapter member Kim Fitzsimmons hired a photographer to capture these images in 2004. According to Kim, the Sacajawea mural is stored at Washington State Historical Society Museum.3 Thanks, Kim, for helping to preserve these Lewis and Clark treasures.
